.: Our suppliers
Harts of Stur
David, buyer at Harts of Stur, is a great friend to The Fine Food School. By "getting" what we were trying to do he has been incredibly supportive and positive. As our supplier of pots and pans and utensils and the like, Harts have been superb. But by understanding how our two businesses can work together for mutual benefit they have been truly outstanding - which is no doubt why they are so successful. I urge you to visit their shop in Sturminster Newton and students of The Fine Food School are guaranteed a good price!
Homemaker of Shaftesbury
Key to establishing The Fine Food School was getting a good quality kitchen set up in our barn. A chance meeting at the Gilligham and Shaftesbury Show with Jeremy, Head honcho at Homemaker's Shaftesbury store, secure us a fantastic deal and great service. For kitchens, appliances and great service we cannot recommend Homemaker highly enough.
Turnbulls Deli and Cafe
Just up the road in Shaftesbury and near enough for us to sneak out to for lunch is Charlie Turnbull's fantastic deli and cafe. Always chock full of temptingly delicious goodies, both on the shelves and on the menu Turnbulls is a brilliant place to go to stock up on those fancy things that make all the difference in the kitchen and on the table - and to have on of the best hot chocolates outside of Denmark!
The Udder Farm Shop
The nearest retail opportunity of any kind to both The Fine Food School and our home is, brilliantly, a farm shop! Brian and Jane's place have a fantastic butchery staffed by an extremely helpful and knowledgeable team, a great display of produce and a superb cheese counter with a terrific range of British cheeses. Their lovely restaurant with its constant supply of wonderful home made cakes affords splendid views across the countryside.
