This course is the first of three intensive modules that will equip you with all the necessary skills and knowledge to become a superb cook, creating your own dishes, following the most elaborate of recipes and turning out delicious food every time.
In part one we concentrate on how basic techniques contribute to the finished product. From seasoning to stocks to sauces to soups we cover all manner of ingredients and skills that you can employ in your own kitchen.
This is very much a hands-on course but with a good level of detail and theory too. Knowing how and why something cooks the way it does is just as important as following a recipe if you want to go on and create your own dishes. So we’ll look at a bit of chemistry and why certain flavours work and so on.
Like all our courses The Complete Cookery Course is intended to be fun, relaxed and enjoyable, but that doesn’t mean you won’t work hard and learn lots too!
